Kad uzmeš producenta kakav je Jacquire King (samo da navedem par njegovih klijenata: Tom Waits, Dawes, Norah Jones) odmah se zna da pucaš na veliko. Ne mogu da kažem , ima Robert Ellis glaščinu da mu pozavidiš, sve je odsvirano i snimljeno savršeno, pesme su iznadprosečne, ipak, meni tu nešto nedostaje...tačnije nečega ima previše. Previše je želje da se uđe u Major League mejnstrim kantrija. Ovaj album (The Lights from the Chemical Plant) je stao negde na pola puta, nedovoljno ljigav da postane crossover hit, previše ispeglan da bi se svideo pravovernicima.
